Sexism is not limited to Hollywood. Because we live in a country that hates women.
The fact is that I am just tired. I am tired of women being second class citizens. And, I know that people will argue that that’s not true–and not all of the arguers will be men. But, that’s part of the problem. I feel like I am being gaslit by people who want fewer rights! If you want a man to take care of you so you don’t have to take responsibility for yourself, then that’s your choice. I can even see the appeal of never being responsible for your own shit. But, do not advocate for restricting my rights and those of every woman just because you don’t want the rights due a human being.

I will probably get a lot of flack for my above paragraph, but honestly, I don’t care. Women who stand up for themselves are often hailed as bitches. So be it. I’d rather be a bitch than a doormat–even if women are conditioned to be doormats in this country. I’ve had it with social conditioning and a country run by white men.
So, I am sorry that this isn’t an eloquent analysis of sexism this week. I just don’t have any eloquence left.
