*Please note that this is not a foolproof quiz. I can only give you an estimate of your voice part as there can be a lot of overlap. When in doubt, focus on the range you are most comfortable singing to determine voice part.
Between 0 and 33.3%
You’re likely a soprano or a tenor or someone with a higher voice. These voices are most comfortable singing higher notes in their range. It is important to note that vocal register (where you’re most comfortable singing) is the most important quality in determining voice part, not just vocal range, as many vocal ranges overlap between parts. For instance, my vocal range is approximately an Eb3-E6, which is a really wide range and overlaps all three female voice parts. My register is approximately A4-A5, which puts me very solidly in the soprano range. Vocal transitions also can be misleading as there is much overlap, and it can be harder to determine transitions rather than vocal range and register.
Between 33.4% and 66.7%
You’re likely a mezzo soprano or a baritone, meaning that you are generally most comfortable in the middle of your voice. Mezzo sopranos can have similar vocal ranges to sopranos, and many bass sections in choirs are filled with baritones who can hit the lower notes, despite being less comfortable on their lowest notes. These are the most common voice parts.

You are likely a contralto (alto) or a bass. These are among the rarest voice parts and are characterized by individuals who are most comfortable singing at the bottom of their range.
