I’ve written about Catalina Island for solo travelers, but Catalina Island is also a great place for kids. So, here are some great activities to enjoy on a Catalina Island day trip with kids.
Glass Bottom Boat Tour
The Glass Bottom Boat Tour is $24.95 adult and $22.95 for children aged 2-11, seniors (55+) and veterans and active military.
Golf Gardens Mini Golf
Golf Gardens is open from 9 to 5 Sunday through Thursday and 9 to 6 on Fridays and Saturdays. It is $12 for adults and $10 for children 2-11 and seniors 55+.
Kayak to Frog Rock
Kayaking to Frog Rock is one of my favorite activities to do while on Catalina Island, and it’s gentle enough that kids can go as well. The tour is 2.5 hours, with a half hour of that being an orientation on how to paddle. For adults it costs $65 and $49 for children 2-11. Children under 2 are free.
Some other activities that are great for a day trip to Catalina Island with kids is spending time on the beach and going on a scavenger hunt.
