I didn’t expect to like the Hollywood Wax Museum, but when I had the opportunity to go, I did. And, I was pleasantly surprised.
The Horror Section
My favorite part of the Hollywood Wax Museum was the Horror Section. I felt like I was walking through a haunted house, complete with creepy music and everything.
I didn’t know what half of the movies and characters were, but I enjoyed it all the same.
And, here are some more pictures of the horror section.
There were a few exhibits I enjoyed outside of the horror section.
Some more exhibits I enjoyed…
And…
And, more…
I especially got a kick out of seeing Ariana Grande because she is a friend of mine’s favorite singer.
It took about an hour for me to go through the museum, but I would recommend allowing a little more time if you like to take photos. I didn’t take advantage of a lot of the interactive parts of the museum because I was there by myself.
Admission to the museum is $29.99 per person for adults, but there are options for combos that allow you to save a lot of money. I spent $10 in parking at one of the parking structures in the area, but there is limited street parking, as well as parking validation at the parking structure around the corner.
Conclusion & Recommendations:
Despite thinking I wouldn’t be interested in a museum of wax figures, I enjoyed my trip the the Hollywood Wax Museum. And, I recommend going if you have a few hours to kill. I also recommend either taking public transportation (the red line is just down the street) or be prepared to pay up to $10 for parking.
